『9月も…』
今日で終わり。
10月も何かと忙しい月になる。気合入れていくよ～。
最近、エグゾセの取い合わせが多くなりました。
やはりスラ系、フリーライド系を中心に人気が出てきました。
ドイツからはこんなNEWSも。
【The Mean Black Machine / Date:2008.09.19】
Friday morning the long awaited winds arrived, - 25 knots Easterly and increasing. In the first run I used my well tuned in Warp Slalom 62 with the Blade 7.5㎡, but the wind already hit 30 knots and more, so I changed immediately to the Warp Slalom 56 with a 6.8㎡.
金曜の朝になってやっと、待ちに待った風が吹き始めました。25ノットの東風でどんどんその勢いを増しています。始めは、しっかりとチューニングしたWarp Slalom 62とBladeの 7.5㎡で乗り始めましたが、すでに風速は30ノットを超えだして、まだまだ上がりそうでしたので、すぐに Warp Slalom 56 と 6.8㎡のセットに換えました。
I was impressed of the easiness of the board after the first ride! The very messy one meter chop made it extremely difficult to find the Fast track・ but I had confidence in my set up and reached top speeds over 36 knots. The wind increased even more and I changed down to 6.2㎡ at the end of the race.
初乗りの後、Warp Slalom 62の乗りやすさが強く印象に残りました。1メーターもありそうなひどいチョップで荒れた海面で、速く走るためのラインを見つけるのは、極めて困難な状況でしたが、乗りやすい道具による安心感から、簡単に36ノット以上のスピードを出すことができました。風はまだまだ勢いを増しつつあったので、セイルを6.2㎡に張替え、レースの終わりまでこのセットで乗りました。
In the end I won five out of seven races this year and with two discards, the championship ranking was secured to defend my title. After a less windy championship in 2007 I could finally prove that I am competitive in higher winds as well. I won the Isle of Rugen Trophy and best event speed ranking with 35.7 knots average over 10 seconds."
最終的に、7つのレースの内、5回トップを取り、2つの捨てレースにより、チャンピオンシップのタイトルを防衛することができました。2007年シーズンは風の弱いレースが多かったのですが、（2008年もタイトルを取ったおかげで）私は強風でも強いということを立証することができました。リューゲン島杯を獲得し、35.7ノットのイベントスピード記録も獲得しました。
